Your Platform/Our API:
911 Enable offers a SOAP API which can be used to establish a web services interface to the 911 Enable location database. The interface enables emergency locations to be added, updated or deleted from the location database in real-time.
Service providers can use the API to integrate a provisioning GUI directly into a customer sign-up or self-care page. This enables the service provider to easily integrate the task of 9-1-1 provisioning into an existing platform. Businesses and enterprises can use the API to create a web-based interface for remote employees such as road warriors. The API can be hosted on the corporate intranet, allowing employees that access the company network from off-site locations to easily add and validate emergency locations.
With the 911 Enable SOAP XML API you can:
Program 911 provisioning into a self-care page
Program 911 provisioning into the customer sign-in page
Allow end-users to add and validate address entries
Allow nomadic subscribers, teleworkers or remote employees to maintain up to date location information
911 Enable also offers an iframe version of the API which is used to easily incorporate the above functionalities into a self-care page.
API:
Our SOAP-XML API is a web service that uses SOAP formatted XML envelopes to initiate machine to machine interaction between your network and 911 Enable. Its interface is described by WSDL.
iframe:
Our iframe is an HTML element that makes it possible to embed our hosted provisioning page into your website. Use of the iframe cuts down on development time, significantly reducing time to market.
